Hi Thimothy, (is that your name?)

Welcome to the International Art Section's website. My name is Rik ten Cate, I am creator of the site, and moderator. I welcome you, and hope you will find a lot of good things, ideas, people, inspirations here.

I have a few questions. would you be so kind to mention your'e full name, in stead of 'only' Thimoteus? And maybe something about where you live, what you do, (Yip?) where you had your art education and so?

Than: I put up 10 photo's of your work. 15 more are waiting to be approved.

It seems to me that you are not very critical about which photo's you want to show? Or am I mistaking? I think so, because there are not only photo's of work, but also of your guitar, work in progress, clay drying and so on. Would that be interesting for the whole world to see? In other words: what do you want to show, and why do you want to show it? Isn't it so that a few good photo's have to say more than a whole bunch of average quality?

I also see that photo's are turned 90 degrees sideways, so that I even can not properly see what it is (nr. 3 out of the 10). I think it is good that you turn that photo, please. That also makes that I wonder if you thought about what you want to post on the site.

Would you pleas consider this? And let me know what your intentions are? Tank you!

Best regards,

Rik ten Cate, Holland.

Hey Rik,

Sorry about the confusion, but I am in the process of traveling, and i wanted to upload an array of photos while i had the internet access available. I assumed that I could then later return and edit the format and organization later. My name is Tim (Tymoteusz) Kowalski and I am a world citizen, born in New York, New York, but raised by the traditions and cultures of families world wide. I received a BA in Ceramics/Sculpture/3D-Design, accompanied with a senior thesis which focused on the development of human consciousness, and how that evolution has been documented in art and the creative processes of man. After I graduated I continued to work as freelance entrepreneur, artist, and musician across the east coast of the united states, europe, and south africa. I have participated in a plethora of performance art, theater, musical expositions, and I am currently en-route to Jarna, Sweden, where I will be participating in the International Youth Initiative Program. (yip.se) Please check out my humble blog at timkowalski.wordpress.com. Feel free to suspend the publishing of my work until I get to sweden. I should then have more time to appropriately organize a portfolio for you. Thank you for accepting my request, and I truly appreciate this networking opportunity. The work I've seen so far is quite amazing. All the best- Tim
